    Blm/WHm/Summoner Ability change's and new ability Suggestions

    Arcanist -

    Haste - Self-Cast only - last's 30 mins
    MP Costs on level

    Haste - Lower's Global-Cool-down/cool-downs/cast-speed by by alot amount meaning faster placement's of dot's haste also increase's movement speed by a-lot cause it's self focus'd , allowing you move at same speed as sprint (doesn't stack with sprint however)
    Haste also effects attack speed and heal speed of your pet's by noticable amount. while active

    Sapphire Carbuncle - Element (Ice) has beautiful icy coat (Role: Crowd Control/DPS)

    Icy Spike's - Team Buff - Give's everyone frost armor type ability giving them 5% Damage reduction, and deals 10% Damage return..

    Frost Breathe -AoE- Close range - Place's a 15% Slow and damage's all nearby targets 120 damage

    Ice Coffin - Works like Blizzard II Deals about 100 potency and hits all targets. Additional effect: Freeze (Freeze's the timer's of all dot's and debuff's for total of 6 seconds) 15 second cool-down

    Sapphire Dust - Entombles up 3 monsters into solid block of eye's while captured they cannot take damage nor can they deal damage (this doesn't work on boss's but does work on pretty much all adds) Damage does not break the bind 5 mins

    Summoner - Shiva Egi (Different abilities bit powered up version of the time and different names but not much difference

    Scourge - (costs 3 Aetherflow) Potency 180 every 3 second for 30 second's too all targets within blast radius. this has same range' as overpower' so you have be near and close and facing the monster's (this hurts)

    Scholar - gets a ice type like fairy ((this fairy crowl/control/healer this fairy is summoned to handle massive monster pull's she heals over time effects she able turn bad situation until smoother outcum and she can sheild other members from damage))

    Whm -

    Nul-All - This reduce's all Elemental/Magic Damage by 88% only give's 3 elemental charge's addition to this. you can place this on a single team mate. and has a 300 second Cool-down with 30 min buff timer and instant

    Blink - This increase's Evasion/Parry on single player too 88% this only has 3 defensive charge's before it is consumed. you can only place this on single team mate at a time has 300 second cool-down and 30 min buff-timer and instant

    Reflect - This spell require's perfect aim. this buff only last's 4-5 second's using it at right time is important. Reflect 100% Blocks a single ability. and damage returns bout 10% of total damage you would of taken. this ability can save someone's life and is instant cast


    Thurmagiest -

    Double Cast - Cast's Same Spell Twice' on same target without only having pay mp cost once and only one cast time

    Power Cast - Your Next Spell 100% Critical Chance and cost no enimity

    Blms -

    Elemental Barrage - when you cast's a fourth fire/ice you send all your fire's or ice's along with it. dealing damage a fire 1 type damage 4 times

    Elemental Barrage should be a Summoner ability since in MMORPGS Elementalist and Summoner lore our very similar.
    Summoner
    Make them more like Elementalist
    Summon IV-Lebiathan Egi
    Summon V-Ramuh Egi
    Summon VI-Shiva Egi
    Egi Infusion- Transforms Summoner into the Primal.

    Ultima - Massive Ranged AoE - this spell does about 33-45k damage to all monsters within 45-50 yrds, all monster's also effected by every status effect in game! for 30mn however come's with heavy cost -> one upon use your black mage not only die's but is removed from the fight there for cannot be ressed. and they suffer a 30 min debuff but that pretty lower's there over all damage by 88% and if killing boss with it you don't get to roll on the loot

    (this spell is completely disabled in pvp)


    this spell heaviest hittting attack in game

    I think Egi Infusion would be good if they re-overdrive system so summoner's other class's did there own overdrive's instead of sharing it with whole team. cause have think archer's have a "Healing Overdrive" watch is very sad for ranged dps

    Yeah i was Joking on it..

    But if serious toned it down alot. problem is would be cool if black mage at ultima cause it is then ultimate form of destruction magic

    If I serious it be more like this

    Ultima - Cost- Alot of MP(more then holy reasonable) - Deals 420 Potency - has great range but unlike flare it has a cool-down like 120-200 seconds (if i was serious)

    Ultima is different then flare cause destructive radius, and instant cast

    Of all the crap that has been suggested in the OP, why are people especially bashing the idea Ultima?

    This spell belongs to the BLM class and it's imo very reasonable to be hoping for it to be added to the players set of skills some time.

    The other crap, though... as I mentioned in your other thread, level up, experience the game, think over it a coupe of time, and then another time again.
    Until then, stop posting "change this pls" stuff threads.

    Because of the little fact it was
    a story element in the main scenario, that it was a spell hidden within the Heart of Sabik, the Ultima Weapon's power core which Lahabrea used to destroy the player's 'Shield of Light' (the barrier that Hydaelyn's Blessing shielded the player with) and indirectly the Praetorium - thus because when the Ultima Weapon was destroyed, the spell was kinda lost/destroyed along with it after that?


    Thus because of that, Ultima will never be castable by players - think of it like FFVII where Holy and Meteor were also tied into the story and could never be used by the player either in battle. Hells, even FFXI never had Ultima available as a player-castable spell either.

    But.... I thought Summoners are supposed to handle DoTs while BLMs supposed to be nuking....

    Why are putting a SECOND nuke on summoners... WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY

    Think of the balancing that needs to be done, oh my god.

    Oh, maybe I should not have skipped over cutscenes and text so much. Thanks for the clarification
    On a side note, I didn't play FFXI but not having a spell there is never ever a valid argument to do or not do smth in this game.
