Thread: Increased Character Data in 3.0, what would you like to have? SE take note.

While likely when we're able to make mods someone will do it anyway, I'd like a minimal UI mode. In the same way as pressing scroll lock will completely kill the UI, I'd like to press a button and have it stripped down to just whatever I tick on a checklist. I.E hp / mp, target bar, buffs / debuffs.

I like to play with the UI off when I can, but without the most basic info, I can only do so much before it becomes dangerous to me or my party xD

You can hide individual UI elements already.

An EU server actually situated in the EU instead of the EU server being in Canada. (Squeenix what were you thinking with this one?!)

Glamours saved to gearsets - just use the prism to activate that particular glamour into the slot.
Atleast one if not 2 free retainers - or double their capacity - I'm fine if they make one be available mid story and one in a later patch.
Hotbar/crossbar saved to gearset - so I could have a PvP focused one and a PvE focused one - the non shared ones that is.
Hidding glows - or you know just give us the option to get glamour only variants of those phases that do glow so we can just glamour that over.
A task board in FC house for FC members - would work similar to hunting ventures - you select something you need from a drop down and the amount needed - the rewards would be self calculated based off that but I would say 1 venture and exp and gil. Each FC member with permissions could post 3 requests/18h and each member could accept up to 6/18h.

- no more items restriction in housing x.x (seriously we can't put enough items right now)

- no more general cool down for certain jobs it's jut too slow and borring right now

At this stage most people have several lvl 50s but enough gear space to actually use only about 2 of those.

Fishing clogs up space in 15 minutes more than anyone has room for so a fishing box for tackles and catch would be nice.

Sadly, PvP skillsets tied to gearsets will not happen because of console limitation (even PS4) because of the savedata limit the consoles impose. These are stored locally, so technically we could have unlimited gearsets and have all hotbars, pvp sets and such tied to them on PC, but SE's sance is to not give such an advantage over consoles, so we are SOL.

Glamours are stored on the server to avoid cheating (if they were locally stored, anyone with enough knowledge about how the savedata works could easily apply any glamour on any gear they choose, even if they have never possessed that piece of gear to use as glamour, plus it would break colored glamours because the individual ID of an item is not sent to the client to avoid duping). As such, we have the character data problem here.
