    Warrior: Str or Vit?

So I've been researching on whether a warrior should focus on str or vit and I've come up blank. Most of the stuff I've read are either 50/50 or possibly outdated. I looked through the forums and can't find an answer either. I just turned 50 and I'm now in the process of beefing up my item level. I currently got all 30 of my bonus attributes on str and currently undecided on what accessories to spend my tomes of soldiery on, str or vit.

If you're a fresh 50 just go full vit. You might actually lower group DPS by going full strength, because the healer will need to watch you more carefully.

When you can comfortably manage the level of content you aim for, shift into str.

As a War myself, go vit. Your role is a tank, yes dps is good, but if each member of the party plays their role well, instances go well. Hit the vit and tank like a champ. Mix it up down the track if you like, if you really like the idea of str, maybe a dps class is calling you.

The thing about war is that they have abilities that benefit from more strength such as bloodbath storms path and inner beast. Because of this war benefit from strength while tanking as well as more dps. No war should need 12k hp. Its a waste to be honest. Go full strength.

You need VIT enough to meet the HP threshold for the content your doing, and everything beyond that is surplus.

I'm doing FCOB with 10200 out of party, which bumps to about 10500 in party.. Prior to Echo I'd be full strength speced with pentamelds, which would get me to be around 11000 for 13, which is more than enough for everything. I find that T13 pre-echo was the only thing I'd use more than 10500 hp for as War. With echo, it's more than enough.

While you're gearing up, Vit. Once you get somewhere in the 10k range with Defiance, go Str. But.. Only if you know how to manage CDs in a given fight.

So basically Vit until you know you could shed some. This applies to bonus points and accessories.

The advice so far is sound. Once your base HP is 6k (before defiance) start stacking STR. By the time you are geared for FCoB you'll have the remaining HP you need.

Your first change from VIT to STR should always be with your attribute points since pound for pound it is the biggest boost. After that start messing with your accessories.
