    Hybrid dungeon

    Thought of an idea of having a dungeon that can be beaten in many different ways. it would have a 8 person party and its up to the party what classes they want to bring. you can have a standard party with 5 dps or maybe a party with 1 tank, 1 healer, 4 dps, 1 bonatist and 1 alchemist. there were unspoiled nodes in the dungeon and items that could only be crafted within the dungeon. a bonatist can harvest a vile that a alchemist can turn into a poison, this can help kill the boss with 3 dps as fast or maybe faster as 5 dps lets say
    or maybe a miner can mine some stone to be crafted by a blacksmith into a weapon only in the dungeon to help kill a swarm of mobs.these crafters and gathers cant freely get to their unspoiled nodes or craft their items, this generates a lot of threat and must be protected by the party, prehaps bring a second tank to help control the aggro.
    this setup would bring all the classes together and give the players total freedom on how theyd like to beat a dungeon

    Super creative. Clapping my hands for you. I would like to see something like this that would offer certain rewards unobtainable by other means. It could work like a sort of challenge mode and it would have all sorts of scenarios and multiple solutions for each one. You could be a creative director. Things are getting stale as they are.

    And there needs to be more selection in armor! I find there's way too many end game players that are completely identical! What if there was craftable armor that had no base stats and was only mendable, for every 15 or 20%hq there's 1 garunteed material slot. Like this we could focus on certain attributes and no 2 players would be exactly the same

    An idea I thought of "the enchanted forest" almost in the shape of a maze, multiple ways to go. Party needs to make it to the middle to clear the boss. Trash mobs in every direction. As soon as duty commences, unspoiled nodes appear, up to gatherer to direct party, up to tank to control aggro and rest of party to clear the trash. Gather uses toil to see what's available at what slots. He speaks with crafter to see what can be crafted to benefit the party the best for their strategy. Could be an offensive boost or defensive strategy. Could be multiple uses for trash or boss or single use for the boss

    The boss would drop high level crafting mats, and also "recipes" recipes are 1 time use. Even 2 recipes for an identical item would be different. This recipe could send you to ifrit ex or maybe titan ex and Garuda hard plus mats gathered in unspoiled nodes outside a duty. The boss would have 1 identical phase of a fcob fight most players can't beat. This will prepare them for the actual fight!

    I like all of that. That'd be fun as hell and rewarding. Coordination and cooperation in one rewarding instance. DoL's working with DoW's? Yes please. It'd be like massive treasure map hunts mixed with an all player controlled escort mission. This game could totally benefit from ideas like these. Radical, but certainly not impossible. And yeah, I think new styles of clothes and armor and even rare clothes and armor that are actually as unique as they say, should exist. SE played it too safe with wanting to make everything super symmetrical. Its kind of boring in concept.

    This sounds a lot like hamlet was in 1.0 and ppl hated it so they took it out for a more cookie cutter dungeon type. I miss hamlet ; ;
