is this a common occurrence?

I hope this isn't what healing is like, because that's the whole reason i stopped maining my tank. I hate how much blame people throw around in this game. Its very discouraging some times.

Few things coming from a Warrior(Tank) and Whitemage(Healer):

• Most tanks are Drama queens that need to be in the center of attention. They think they are Gods' given gift to man and all should bow down to him/her.
• Duty Finder can give you worlds coolest and friendliest teammates, or the scum of the earth.
• A proper tank will ALWAYS dodge AOE when avoidable and rotate his defensive cooldowns to mitigate damage
• It is easier to blame others than to find the fault with yourself.
• Anonimity on the internet shows people's true nature. Like stated earlier, some friendly folks, some scumbags

I understand it is discouraging at times. Ignore it. If you make a mistake; own up to it, and try to do better next time. In this case it simply seems you received a lousy drama queen tank. It reflects more on him than that it reflects on you. Certain dungeons are more prone to these kinds of things than others.

Brayflox has a jump in difficulty. In things prior to Brayflox enemies don't hit that hard and is considerably a lot less forgiving for mistakes. It is the first dungeon which requires some experience and minor skill.

I've had runs in which the DPS and Healer could not dodge the mechanics to save their own life. I stayed calm, explained how to dodge easier, explained the tactics in more detail and had a laugh about it. It is a game, not a job. Have fun and don't let others ruin your game experience!

Getting a nice FC and doing dungeon runs with FC mates is often the best solution in my opinion
