TY ..This... I did not articulate you it as well you didTHIS! So much this! I have been farming for 2 sets of Zodiac items the last few weeks so I have had plenty exposure to some really impatient people. I cannot be the only healer that meets these types of people:
"Circle goes down! Doesn't matter the healer is the last to load in, I need to run out of buffcasting range even though I see them cast, but by the time they finish I am out of range, waiting over there for them!"
Please! Someone explain that logic to me. Can people not stand still for 5 seconds so I can finish Protect and Swiftcast+Stoneskin 2?

95% of the time I go into the DF I expect the tank to do big pulls and I expect DPS to drop them accordingly. The game's gear progression is so high at this point that the dungeons are a joke to tank/heal through.
I dont think I've been in a DF group where we didnt do big pulls, in the last 3 weeks or so. People want to get in and get out, and I cant blame them since for 8 days now I've gotten AK Hard every single time for roulette. If the dungeons were new then yeah, asking is fine, but at this point? Nah, you either gotta keep up or make your own party before going in.

I get that it's annoying if they run out before buffs, but that's still a bad reason to intentionally kill your group. Just protect some time during the first pull then sc+stoneskin2 right after it.
When in doubt, assume sarcasm

Not saying I'll intentionally kill them. I have however let groups die when I expressively said "Please wait for mana" after I ran dry on a stressful pull and the tank ran away and pulled (This one happened in AV where scaling drastically changes my mana pool). I refuse to suicide if I know I cannot heal through a pull because I am out of mana.
And no, the job of Tanks is not to only keep mobs off the others. It's also survival. And more often than not I see tanks do huge pulls without popping a single buff, expecting the healers to pull them through. I can - don't get me wrong there - but it is immensly stressful, more than it should be when popping cooldowns is off your gcd and takes almost no effort at all. So if a tank actually asks him I now am in the habit of responding "Sure, can do speed runs, if you as tank can use cooldowns."
Tank POV Logic, I do not have to speak to you outside of making sure the party follows mechanics. I only have ONE JOB and that's to keep mobs off of you. I wait for buffs but I am not there to be liked or get a commend, I am there for Loot & Tomes.
I compare speed runs to sex with a hooker no talking, Fast Facking & GTFO in 30 mins or less.
And enforcing your morality on the internet does what, exactly?
State your intents at the beginning of the dungeon. Be firm, yet do not be confrontational.
You say you're not comfortable with a pull of x size, I am inclined to listen. You fuss, nag, and refuse to heal... You deserve every bit of the dismiss you are about to receive.
So many people get defensive and/or down right nasty when things aren't 100% the way they want (even if the results are similar). The bigest thing is: can you show you can compromise enough to get the others interested in trying to meet you half way?
I have no issue with this but the people I am talking about are gone already, I am chasing them and they do not respond to chat. And enforcing your morality on the internet does what, exactly?

Again, be firm, do the best you can. Do NOT sit there and laugh at failure or wag fingers. You are most likely to solicit the change by them realizing you are not within your skill set and you mentioned it previously. But you have to try (compromise).
Be cheerful and persistent even if your group fails. If they kick you, fine, you did your best and they are no longer your problem.
This is just one example of how to constructively handle the problem and guide the outcome to something more favorable.

Question: Please define speedrun?
Why? Because you mention skipping packs of mobs and chests. I don't need a full grab all the mobs and pop hallowed pull but I also don't want to just stop and go every 3 enemy pack when it's extremely inefficient for me as the healer. If the DDs can get the DPS to drop things when there's 2 packs I fully support it. I don't want to go out of my way to hit a pack of 3 mobs that are guarding a trash chest. If you want the chest with x-ether/hi-elixir, ask me before you force me to spend time killing the mobs or healing the party. If it's out of the way, clear of enemies, you go get it. Or do it after the dungeon is complete. If there's no newbie, I'm not going to go out of my way to kill mobs that aren't required to be killed to complete the dungeon. If it's a low level dungeon, will always check with everyone if they want the exp.

Seems like pretty stupid behaviour on a tank's part to start rushing and mass pulling with a random healer. I've seen too many wipes where a tryhard tank pulls half the dungeon and the healer just can't keep up because they're not ridiculously overgeared.
By all means, if the healer is keeping you up without breaking a sweat start pulling more and faster, but there's no need to go HAM straight out of the gate unless you're damn sure the healer's up to the job.
