Its quit simple and infact SE agress with me, if the majority of the group doesnt want to watch cut scenes then the single person who does is at fault. The group was gracious enough not to kick the OP for being a jerk which they are entirely within there rights to do.

If you think its ok for people to be selfish then complain to SE.

I don't think playing a game you pay for, exactly the way it was set up to play, can be called selfish by any stretch of the imagination. And the fact is in this situation someone is going to be playing the game they pay for the way someone else dictates. It's not ok. SE just needs to nix the cut scenes and be done with it.

Nor is there anything inherently wrong with being selfish.
I don't care if other people I chance upon are selfish or not, if they try to inconvenience me because of it, that's when we have a problem..

Like a lot of people have already said, I don't really care if you want to sit back and watch the cut scenes, just don't expect me and 6 other people to sit back and suck our thumbs while we wait..

Not to restart the discussion, but I wanted to say that the last 2 times I've done the main scenario roulette there was 1 new person and both times we all sat and waited while they went through the cutscenes.
One time a bunch of other people were new-ish so we talked strategy. The other time we just spammed emotes.

I've done Castrum Meridanium a few times now. Not as much as others (seriously, why is it such a popular place to grind? Do the people who grind that place suck at every other piece of content?), but the primary reason I avoid it whenever possible is because of jerks like that who pick on rookies. It's disgusting behavior.

I definitely recommend hopping onto Party Finder with this to weed out the jerks.

That's a good question.. I've really only done those twice.. Once to clear for myself and another time as an FC group. The bonus sol is so little, it's not worth it. But you have to remember, all these "jerks" that keep running it despite the miniscule bonus is what keeps the groups going.. If it were up to people like us, there would never be enough groups to get the clears for the people who need them.
