Why is this so hard for some to understand?

You have two groups based on needs to be met:
    - New Player: Wants to enjoy the normal pace of an instance.
    - Farming Player: Wants to finish instance as quickly as possible for XYZ requirement X out of X total.

    It isn't rocket science.

    Solution:
The developer needs to add options which allow both parties to facilitate their personal needs.
    - Add Duty Finder filter/flag to match ques based on the goal of the player queing: Enjoyment or Farm

This saves both parties the headache of wasting each others time or ruining each others time.

Most of you are still approaching this from the simplistic irrational view that one side is wrong whilst the other is right. Both sides have rights in the matter. So what can be done when you have a conflict and both sides can't or are not willing to resolve because it is a detriment to their personal need/want? Enforce a separation. To each his/her own.

Now: Some have said in response to this option that it isn't feasible/efficient codewise and that it will increase the Que times for both sides.

    1) You don't know what code SE does or does not have server wise. (This functionality may actuality already be a WIP)

    2) Given the increasing frequency of this issue and the threads about it:
This is ultimately what is fair for both parties that refuse to extend their farm time total or skip a cutscene (immersion compromised). In essence this is the outcome you're asking for, a separation because you can't or won't get along.

Otherwise, Use Party Finder. (Some ppl I know actually do this quite often).

Party Finder gives you the option to group with people who wish to only farm or people who wish to have complete immersion cutscene wise (RPing and all that jazz).

To state that Duty Finder is by design ONLY for either party is incorrect and to expect it to be insinuates a separation of goals needs to be enforced.
