Even when progressing you take it one step at a time, one mechanic at a time, then the whole phase before moving onto the next when you have the previous phase down.First tries on a phase are to see the mechanics, irrespective of watching a video/reading a guide as guides give you a certain understanding but actual experience trains muscle memory.

Who should? The game? It already does if you pay attention to telegraphs, emotes and debuff descriptions. The players? Why? Those who are willing to give indepth descriptions of what to do, already do, many of them are clear and concise and freely available on the internet with minimal searching. Theres a huge difference between being asked if you know how to handle X mechanic and replying "what's that?" and "Yeah, I read up/watched a video. But not 100% sure". First shows a lack of care in regards to other players whilst thinkiong they should give full attention to you. 2nd shows that you are proactive in clearing and thoughtful in regards to the other players.

You cannot expect others to put in the effort if you, yourself are unwilling to show initiative and motivation. When you join a party you are part of a team, doesn't matter if it's PF, DF or whatever, more effort you put in, the higher chance of success. Don't expect others to do the groundwork for you. That is just being selfish and not a team player.
