Time out.

I'll preface this by saying not every PF is reasonable, there do exist the "elitist" types you speak of but they're not ALL like that. It irritates me that players who expect general competence are signed off as "elitist, toxic trolls" right off the bat.

A person is NOT an "elitist" if they want their farms to be farms or clear/learning parties to have the same exp prior to going in. Most of these farm parties have respectable strike rules.

Learning parties will want exp to at least around the same phase, why should 7 people up to phase 3 have to then suffer through wipes because one person lied about their knowledge of the fight? Of course some fights are manageable and recoverable but not all of them are.

Have 0 experience looking to learn a raid? Make a learning PF stating so. Get a group of people who are in the same spot and make attempts. Learn fights, do research, etc. If you can't commit to a static take what you can from the learning parties and as you become more comfortable set the bar at the next phases. Will you clear it in x weeks like a static? Probably not. You'll spend a significant amount of extra time even as you sift through players who lied to you about their experience and caused wipes.

Parties going for first time clears and are actually serious should have a solid understanding that not everyone is perfect. You're gonna sometimes get your impatient jerks who blow up after the first wipe but don't assume everyone is like that.

I'm looking at my PF right now and i see:

1) T10 clear, please at least have seen last phase
2) T12 farm, please know the fight
3) T9 need a clear
4) T11 learning, please have seen up to add phase

In regards to the "I have a life and can't commit to a static".

I was in my static through uni, managed good grades, now working full time. I'm still able to have a social life, play other games if I choose, hit the gym, hang out with irl friends. Of course there are extreme circumstances "I'm working random night shifts" or "I need to watch 3+ children" (both have happened in our group). But again, those are extremes. I've raided with parents, occasional night shift workers, people in fulltime work/school. The average people you speak of you don't need to be on the game 24/7 to clear content.
