Here's something that most non-raiders probably don't take into account. Most serious raiders are well aware that there are plenty of players even better than themselves. Believe it or not, there is a degree of humility at this level. Hell... you can only spend so much time wiping during progression before you learn that you're in no way perfect.

That's why I mentioned recently that I believe the CT braggarts and loudmouths to be mostly composed of non-Hardcores. They pew pew their lil' hearts out in ST and blow a gasket if some first-timer fails a mechanic. Why? Because wipes at this level are rare and as such, they're seldom given a chance to reflect upon the fact that they just might not be God's gift to MMO's.
