    Almost every fight in this game is incredibly scripted. Aside from a few unique fights (the last boss of SV Hard Mode) and some "random" events (Shiva EX weapon transitions, Levi EX's dive locations, tethers in t11) most of the fights are set on either a pattern (boss does 1 and then 2 happens and then they cast 3) or its based off their HP % (phase transition at xx%).

    I played an MMO that was 100% reaction based. All the classes were DPS classes and you had to actively dodge everything because even though the boss had moves, the order they did them and the direction they moved was completely random and only influenced by a player's location (ie, you stood next to the boss' butt and he would whack you with his tail). This, however, is not one of those MMOs.

    Sure, you don't NEED to memorize the pattern of anything to do it, you can simply know the mechanic, what it does, and react to it. But the order they happen in is pretty telegraphed it is present in nearly every single fight. It's not unique to t9, and it's not unique to Coil; it's present in every fight. If you don't want to do t9 that's fine, but don't say its too overly patterned in a game that is nothing but scripted patterns.
