LOL! BB is so easy.
Also there is a difference in a single player boss and a mmo boss.
You can force any BB/souls game boss into a certain attack so its not really reflex. Plus they aren't random nor dynamic. They respond to your movements. But they dont follow a pattern. Paarl doesnt AOE left swipe right swipe then repeat. Theyre all dynamic fights and in your face that still boil down to reflexes. And even if you wipe, its not because you dropped ameteor in the wrong spot or something, its because you didnt dodge at the right time or wasnt quick enough. Thats the difference. Those games still boil down to reflexes. Coil is just memorization. When I die in a souls game, ive never said "where what the hell was I supposed to do with the target debuff?" or "Well how was I supposed to know where to drop that?" Its always "Dammit I dodged way too soon/late." or "I got way too greedy with damage."
If you want fights where you can one shot on a blind run, stay with single player games. They will suit you more

I'm just some guy...
So then go play Bloodborne?
Seriously, I feel like the people that complain about these things like the OP are just mad because they went in, tried & failed but instead of trying again they go, "This is stupid! >_<" and come here to complain.
I find coil to be challenging for XIV's gameplay style just like Dark Souls/Bloodborne are for their play style.
If you don't like XIV's then there are plenty of other MMO's (or single player cause that sounds more like what you want) out there.
