Developers: Can We Get Content to Bridge the 3 Months?

I know there's plenty of people who haven't leveled up everything or haven't finushed their Zodiac (s), etc.

But for those of us who have, and I know there's plenty of us, can we get something to do for the next 3 months? Maybe remove the poetics cap for starters or give us another patch with new content? Normally it's 3 months between major patches (2.1, 2.2, etc.) and obviously 3.0 was originally intended to be roughly 3 months after 2.5 but when it got pushed back to 5, did anyone think maybe we need some content to do?

No. They removed the lockout on fcob, farmable dreadwyrm gear, that IS our content for these next few months.

T9 is still extremely unfun and tedious barrier. That has to be removed first before Final Coil can be considered an option for anyone not a masochist or elitist.

Thats a bit rude, most people in final coil are neither elitists nor masochists. Maybe you should try harder to find people who can do simple mechanics effectively.

What would this do? People would grind for tomes at a breakneck pace for two weeks then ask for more content. We've never had more than one uncapped currency at once, so I don't really foresee it happening.

How would they come up with content on such short notice? Updates are planned out months in advance.

There's tons to do in the game if you only look and keep an open mind.

Basically, yes. Ramuh is the toughest primal (to me, anyway) and he doesn't even really compare. Garuda, Titan, and Ifrit can be burned down so fast it's a complete joke nowadays. Leviathan and Shiva's mechanics are very simple. Don't get me wrong, those are two of my favorite fights in the game; the fact remains that the mechanics are fairly simple. Mog... ugh. Tanking Mog X is like watching paint dry. :x

Prepare to be disgruntled, then. It'll probably be uncapped at the expansion when we get a new currency.

I find the T9 fight incredibly fun. It's one of the best-designed instances in the game in my opinion. I find it fun enough that I frequently hop into clear parties and learning parties for it . The same goes for other SCoB and FCoB turns.

In any case, I'm neither an elitist nor a masochist. I'm simply a player that got together with seven other players so we could challenge ourselves. If challenging yourself isn't your thing, then more power to you. Nobody's twisting your arm to go into T9. If you aren't willing to try though, don't bag on those that find success when they go where you refuse to. The fact is, a plethora of content is out there but many people choose not to do it.

Not all of us have an interest in coils.. I too would like something new to do, but that probably won't happen until Heavensward.
Once my subscription runs out I guess I'll take a break.

You got time to raise your skill level to perform in the FCOB, thats honnestly something people should at least try to do. Casual player base needs to shown more difficult tasks, an unlocked final coil without pressure.

Also how about trying to do more then dps? learn to tank and heal.

Finally, I have a WHM and again, tanking looks dull as hell for me personally so I'll pass. I'm not demanding new content, something new WOULD be nice but I know full well the expansion is coming up so I'm not expecting anything.

Ex primals are nothing compared to FCOB.
