Is it possible to shut off glow from item?

I just happened to see someone where an armor where their whole body was glowing. It was likely a high level item and if/when I get that item, i think it would be cool if i glow but I think after a while it will get annoying glowing a lot. I have an atma weapon and currently working on tomes but I have seen people using yellow glow items and I think that is likely one of the next steps of my relic weapon's evolution. If that is the case, I think it would be a useful feature if we can turn on and off the glowing feature. We already have /visor and the ability to hide 1.0 tattoo's, and head gear so why not this too?

I'm assuming that glowing you're talking about it the bright part of the relic quest they are working on. There is no way to turn off the glow. If it's a piece of gear, you'd have to get the same piece in a non glowing fashion. If it's a weapon, then well you're outta luck unless you get 2 of the same weapon, one upgraded and one not and glamour it which can't be done for the relic weapons glow.

Personally I love the glow. Shame the Augmented Magiteck Rod doesn't glow and looks plain as hell. It's an eyesore to look at.

Only way is to glamour as the base relic or atma step. You can buy the base relic off the Calamity Salvager once you've obtained it, IIRC.
