Congrats Nobuo!
I love his music since I was a kid, and I still cry when I listen to the sad song from FF4 where your NIN Have to kill his parents. I don't think it would have affect me that much if there was no sad music, great job!

I would love if Nobue could get this appreciation thread for his great success.
Congratulations Nobue!

Cheers, Nobuo! Well earned, his music made Final Fantasy for me.
The new popularity surely has something to do with hard work Spielemusikkonzerte has been done also together with Classic FM around the release of the Final Symphony Album.
For myself, I was buying it 5 minutes after the midnight releas
Wish the best for the announced Final Symphony II.

I think video games in general - but RPGs especially - and Nobuo Uematsu especially especially - are great at bringing classical style music to people who may not have cared to actively listen to it otherwise. I shared some of his music with my grandma after going to my first Distant Worlds concert and she adores it too. Long may he reign!
So happy for Nobuo Uematsu, I wish all the FF music was made by him :-(.
