I had around 2900 points, nowhere near top 20 and I got 3 packs.
I got 20,999 MGP, Lahabrea, Nanamo and Firion~

That would make sense, so then the next question is where exactly the line is between 3 and 4. Seems like 3.2k for 4?
I had around 2960 points in the tournament. Got 3 platinum packs, 20k MGP. I noticed that 20th place on my server had less than 3100 points so I wasn't too far off from getting on the board. Maybe if I hadn't had so many draws...
Anyway, my card packs had 2 Lahabrea and 1 Shiva. I spent all my MGP winnings on gold packs and was lucky enough to get a Warrior of Light card.
I got 4 packs at the 21st spot (went from 3rd to 21st over the course of the week, super depressing) with over 3.5k points.Has anyone gotten 4 packs without being in top 20?
Has anyone gotten 4 packs with less than 3.2k points?
Has anyone gotten only 3 packs in top 20?
How did Haru get 5 packs especially if some #1 ranked people only got 4?
Maybe win/loss ratio has something to do with it?
Following these questions I'd wonder if it is based on point totals, then is it a flat amount for each tourney or does it have to do with the number of matches played as well? Putting the break point between 3 and 4 packs at 3.2k points, thats about 91 points per match. If it's up to 3 with a bonus for top 20, then if 2,600 is the lowest amount then you could go as low as 71 points per match and get 3 packs.
I believe it has to do with a bonus pack for getting in the top 10 (but not enough for a placing) I am sure everyone in top 3 got only 4 pack because they get guaranteed tournament card.Has anyone gotten 4 packs without being in top 20?

i think youll always get 1 pack even if only have 100 points total. i think every 1000 points adds another pack extra. this would make most sense and be in line with everything most people here reported.
This can't be right, simply because people get 2700 pts and earn 3 packs, not 2, and people earn 3000 pts and still get 3 packs, not 4. There seems to be a definite breakpoint for these. The 4 pack point line seems to be around 3200 pts, I believe the 3 pack point line was around 2600 pts.
Too bad i cannot remember my exact points, being too hasty to open the decks and cant see it anymore as I wasnt in the top 20. All i remember that it was something in between of 3150 -3350, which makes me think the breaking point for 4 decks was about 3150 (being an average of 90points per match).
Zandervont is the lowest point total I saw with 4 packs, but only said 3.1k not an exact amount.
It's either related to total tournament points or perhaps the 4 pack people all got in the top 20 and got a bonus pack? If anyone wants to post their own data, I think it would be good for science and all that.
I think you can still see your score in the Gold Saucer panel (where you can see lotto ticket purchased, your MGP total etc)Too bad i cannot remember my exact points, being too hasty to open the decks and cant see it anymore as I wasnt in the top 20.
