Depends on what I'm doing though. If I'm trying to get some FCoB farmed and after 3 hours I'm still wiping due to people other than me consistently messing up, imma get cranky (Even if they are my friends lol) :P

But if I just join some T9 clear group or whatever my expectations are lower. I'll see the mess ups and be like, "If you guys want your clear you're gonna have to focus and work for it or this will just end with no clear at all." But sadly it doesn't always work and I watch the groups fall apart with no clear. Typically at this point I pick out the people who played well and give them a clear when my friends are available and teach them FCoB later on.

Done yesterday (first real try to carry someone) as we were down our WHM and oneshot with DF sch that was clueless from Heavensfall on. He died in last phase due to lack of xp 3-4 times but he deserved this win

The run after was a catasptrphe the Df had no clue and wiped us to simple stuff (meteor placement... pulling golems with Medica 2 when ppl didnt have aggro yet and I said id tank...) we got once to phase 4 but out of the 7 wipes only like 2 were static derps (even if i lagged n had everything in stop motion X.x ) then we called it and moved on to other content...
Gonna do it more often tho some ppl out there just deserve it

Edit 16.04.: Went randoms with 4/8 premade with static 2 tanks 1 healer 1 blm we got into T5 out of the duties picked... people were like "I know fight up to Divebombs" and we 2 shot it

Look. I know this may look like something cool, you're just helping and stuff. But for people like me it's horrible.

It may look like I'm just complaining, but I'm on T9 right now. Yeah, I know, too late. But if you keep carrying people that clearly doesn't deserve the win, when I get the clear (someday) i'll keep finding the same random people AGAIN like "hello! no clue of what I'm doing! don't expect me to read any guide and shit!"

I know, too selfish, maybe I'll do read endgame content with Alexander on 3.0

You do realize that T9's seriously hard part is phase 4 and just making it to phase 4 is very hard in learning groups. I mean my very first T9 clear I just made it to phase 4 and cleared it my first time in the phase too. You gotta see the phase to see what is going on and after seeing the phase once, you can have it explained to you and things click easier.

Also those DF people could have wiped us with meteors or golem derping or divebombs or elements but they did not, we did not ask them to run to the wall and die while we carry them either. They performed fine for the first 3 phases and phase 4 wasn't that bad either so it wasn't a full "I have no idea what I'm doing" carry at all. They tried their best and deserved the clear and can likely take that experience and go clear T9 again with an experienced group I am positive of it.

You are greatly exaggerating the situation unfortunately. In fact, it almost sounds like you're extremely jelly.

Sorry, but I'm not actually talking about your case in particular but other cases in the thread. And you're right, a single person can wipe a full raid if they mess up. If you clear they did right, unless they were dead all the fight.

I get your point. The first one really did Adlos and did lustrate and maybe he didnt know when they are perfectly placed and to stoneskin party for Megaflare but he did well and was carried only by our flow. I can imagine if you firsttime enter phase 4 and see people run right left to edge to mid... you go "OK...." but I have no doubt that one will learn his part.
The other one did his faults even after multiple times trying to explain (yea ok theres also language barrier as he was French but my DF wasnt on French so his must have had ticked the E) and he didnt deserve so we called it.

But considering the amount of WHMs i met in "farm" groups that cannot put up a single stoneskin pre Ravens of BF and even don't bother to let M2 tick when second set drops... and I know they got their wins regularly and are at T12/13 while my ppl are casuals and we are just at 11... I am sorry bad ppl get their wins when they show the determination

Around the time just after PF was introduced I was on Titan HM for my relic on my SCH. Most of my premade wasn't well geared, and a couple of the people wern't very good at dodging. Myself I was poorly geared for the fight but they wanted to help me get my relic. After failing about 10 times, people started to break up because it was getting late. I decided to make a PF for one more try, in the comment I posted I needed my relic and was a poor gears SCH. Within seconds I had a full group of max geared players ready to help me. It was awesome, they even told me to DPS because their WHM would solo heal. I did die on the final phase but they didn't need me so they completed the whole thing for me. It was glorious.

To this day, my wife and I still queue up for Titan HM just to help out those that need to complete him.
