So what are you saying, you'd rather just wipe than potentially win? Can you explain that sort of logic to the class?

If the DPS didn't suck, you wouldn't be in the situation of needing tank LB to not wipe. I'd rather the bad DPS improve to be decent DPS so that the DPS can use the DPS LB and everyone can be happy. Without dying. Because you shouldn't be in a situation where using the tank LB as anything other than a joke makes sense.

A successful melee LB3 accounts for maybe 5 seconds or so of damage from the entire alliance. It's really quite silly to get worked up over.

A few clouds getting through is "something went wrong." It's also not enough to need a tank LB. So many clouds getting through that you need the tank LB is not "something went wrong," it's "no, seriously, wtf just happened?"

I don't see anything wrong with tank LB3 and zerging the boss for the last Cloud set as a strategy, but I don't think I'd trust anyone in DF with that much responsibility. The main reason I've seen people wipe in every CT is that they ignore the mechanics.

Because as others have mentioned, shit happens. And it isn't always the fault of low DPS. It doesn't really matter why you might need to use the tank LB if using it can secure a win. If you wipe anyway, then worry about the cause.

How is not killing the clouds in time not the fault of low DPS? Either the DPS are all alive and atrociously bad, or they're dead because they and/or the healers messed up. The second is more understandable, but still shouldn't be happening. If none of the DPS died and you still had to tank LB to save the raid from clouds, then most or all of those DPS players need to just start over from square one.
