Returning to FFXIV

I took an extended leave from the game following the release of Syrcus Tower and just recently resubscribed. I am primarily a warrior with an item level of 100. When I left there was a big push for warriors to stack crafted (str) accessories and materia for Vit.

I'm working on completing the main story line but was wondering if there had been any significant changes to warrior theory crafting over the past 6 months or so. In mor dhona I see alot of warriors with only Vit accessories. Can someone post the info here or guide me to some important threads to help me get back in the swing of things.

Accessory choice depend on your gear and what content you're doing. Crafted is fantastic, yeah, but not if you're only doing 4man dungeons. 9.5k health in Defiance is the threshold for SCoB, 10.5k is the threshold for FCoB. If you can afford it, get a full Platinum/Ruby set and swap in STR accessories where needed. If you can't afford that, get a few Plat/Ruby pieces instead of the full set. If you can't afford that, use a mix of STR and VIT accessories. Just keep in mind that any excess VIT should be replaced with STR and you can basically figure out what you need.

Not much has changed. Warriors in all strength accessories/30 strength are considered to be playing their job correctly. Full vit warriors are considered to be meh. You dont need 12,000 for anything in this game. You group will benefit from extra dps from you. The reason you see many warriors in vit is because they think tanks are meat shields. And they probably also think healers have no business helping dps.
