Yesterday, a Monday, I queued for 2 different queues that said 20 or 30 minutes and got in very quick. Expert queued in like 30 seconds even though it said 20 mins, and LotA queued in 3 mins even though it was over 20. After LotA I did Syrcus and WoD just in time for reset, which both were very fast as expected. This has never happened before with estimated queue time showing waaaay long, but queuing insanely fast, and as DPS at that. So something with queuing is broken after patch giving the illusion of much longer queues.
They are average numbers, so naturally there can be large variations. I've seen queues have an average of 5 minutes and end up taking twenty, and vice versa. The algorithms aren't broken unless it happens consistently for everyone.
