[SPOILERS] MSQ after 2.55?

Does anyone else kinda feel sad that with heavensward the story will most likely focus on Ishgard? Saving them from the king wyrms and who knows what kind of other things there will be.

Especially since the happenings from 2.55 in Ul'dah. It feels so unfinished and i'm just sad we're going to Ishgard now. I kind of hope the MSQ won't just take place in the new areas, but also finish off business back in Ul'dah. Don't get me wrong, i'll love to be able to explore new areas and the expansion in general, but i'd rather first save Raubahn and kick some lolorito ass.

We'll probably be back in Ul'dah and such in the expansion to clear our name and help those left behind (sooner rather than later). I think in this way they'll try to keep old zones and content semi-relevant so we don't just spend every minute in Ishgard. Otherwise new players might think "wow this game is empty" since they'll be stuck in old zones and won't be able to see a lot of the new stuff at first. That's just my guess, though.

Otherwise, I can see the issue with Ul'dah to be cleaned in in future patches post 3.0?

Kinda like how 2.1-2.55 focused on primals and asciens with a bit of Garlemald and threw us a curve ball with the syndicate

I'm pretty sure the reason we're in Ishgard is to figure out the secret connection between the war in Ishgard and the events in Ul'dah. If nothing else, 2.55's cliffhanger has proven that they aren't completely unrelated.

Or at least, that's what I got out of it.

To be honest, I think the issues in Ul'dah need to stew for a bit while we resolve the Heavensward story and while 2.55 was riveting, I'd rather 3.0 be focused on Ishgard, Dravania, and Sharlayan (with little check ins to Ishgard) while the updates 3.1+ take us back to Ul'dah and expand/resolve that situation.

While i understand it might be a bit early in 3.0, it would at least lift some weight off my shoulders considering what happened back in Ul'dah. I just hope they won't take too long before we get some answers, cause i'm dying to know the truth.

Don't worry. The MSQ will continue to send us to every corner of Eorzea, even to Ul'dah.

While the MSQ 51-69 will send us mostly to the new zones, the level 60 quests will send us to lower level regions again.

I have a feeling that we will focus more in Ishgard during 3.0 since we will look for shelter there. I expect more from Ul'dah in the upcoming 3.x patches. This is what I feel though.

I wont lie.. I lost a little bit of respect for the admiral and the elder seedseer for just walking out while raubahn is being over thrown and the warrior of light/scions being accused of something that is completely against their character AT the accusation of monetarist who are known for their evil deeds and intent! idk.. I understood the politics of why they did what they did but really? We saved you and your people multiple times and you leave us in our time of need?! Very dissapointed.. Would have expected better from those who depend on us.. That was just the culmination of my disappointment with them. My respect for them first started to faulter when they wouldn't send men to help us protect Ishgard.. But then they take credit for it! Now this??

Ishgard didn't send any help when the Calamity happened. Frickin' moon just crashed into the planet and Ishgard is all "lol not my problem." I think Merlwyb and Kan E Senna were still sore about it. Raubahn, on the other hand, knows what it's like to have your home invaded and taken over, and that's why he pressed for permission to lend SOME troops (which in hindsight may not have been a bad idea, if some of his most loyal people were over there.)

After that.... well, it's internal Ul'Dahn politics and their hands were tied. I'm not happy about it, but I can see why they didn't help.
