Lag is #1 issue.

UI lag is the biggest problem with the game. It shouldn't take 3 seconds for an ability to go off, after you hit the button. It shouldn't take 10-15 second to switch gear and class. Everything takes too long. If the gear switch macro needs to lag to recalculate, it should only do that once, when the macro is created or edited. It should not lag everytime it's executed.

The problem is lag saps all the fun out of the game. Even if amazing content is added in the future, the slow UI and lag will render those efforts futile. I don't believe anyone wants to play a game that feels like you're playing it on old outdated equipment, and especially if you're paid good money to upgrade your system to state of the art.

BTW, since I've started playing again, the patches and updates have been tremendous. We're all hoping the game suceeds.

I have lag issues as well. It comes at the most random times, I actually just made a thread about it today. The most annoying is when I'm crafting and my synthesis gets botched due to lag- such a horrible feeling! I hope this problem gets resolved before materia comes out ._. imagine losing a good weapon in a synth.

lag while crafting? hmm never had this issue i know it lag a lot in city but outside i get a good 40-60FPS with DOF.

when they get the core/ servers issue fix then maybe the lag would be gone too then we have to wait.

I don't know why they don't fix the first then just releasing stuff when the lag is number 1 issue

Who cares if you release 50 stuff to do when you have to much lag.
