Heavensward Art Countdown

Hello everyone, I just wanted to promote a little event I'm trying to put together to celebrate the upcoming release of Heavensward. So far I've only been trying to promote it within the FFXI tumblr community, but the more people that get involved means more pretty shiny eye candy for all, so why limit it to people with tumblr blogs only?!

It's a art countdown that's going to happen from June 1st through June 23rd to get everyone even more hyped for the expansion! It is going to all be posted on tumblr, but even if people don't have a tumblr blog and want to participate, the submission is really open to anyone ( since communication is primarily being done via e-mail and google docs anyway lol).


Artists of all levels are welcome to participate, And It's not limited to people who are only good with drawing/painting. Screenshot edits will also be allowed as long as everything is all Heavensward-themed (or ties into it, think 2.5.5 ending stuff, like people being on their way to ishgard and whatnot!)

I'm not the biggest forum person but I'll try to post to keep this thread alive, any help spreading the word to the ffxiv community would be appreciated too! Let's give everyone lotsa pretty stuff to see!

I saw this off of reddit and tumblr and really love the idea! I'm definitely interested because it sounds like a lot of fun!!

We're almost at 50 participants, we can do 2 pics a day so far!

I am waiting to create my Au Ra in the new benchmark, is that ok? I want to draw myself as Au Ra in anticipation for Heavensward .
