Is the FL queue horribad for every faction? (Aether)

Currently twin adder and want to start pvping now that everything is starting to wind down for the expansion, however the queues are 20 mins+ and 30 mins+ for Secure, which is what I prefer, Slaughter is a mess.

Is it this slow for all 3?

I remember when FL came out, the underplayed factions had a much shorter queue pop.

I hear there are not many Storm on Aether which means they SHOULD get quick queues since everyone is waiting on them for their matches. [but this comes at a cost]

I've given up on all my attempts to play Frontlines this weekend, and I'm on Adder / Primal where I think we're in the middle with Maelstrom at the high pop/slow queue end of the spectrum and Flames on the low end.

Still very much disappointed in what SE has done (and not done) with this game mode and their lack of response which comes across as a lack of concern... maybe the command has been given from up on high that there's to be no info released of the type we're asking for, whoever it is that's calling the shots here, they have let us down. They give us a game mode, rewards to work towards for playing that game mode, and make it impossible to progress for some people more than others based on arbitrary things like GC choice.

Just remember that patch 2.55 just came out not too long ago. Usually PVP queues die when any sort of new content comes out because most people are busy playing the new stuff instead of pvping. PVP queues are usually just as bad on reset days(Tuesdays) as well.

Queues really annoy me, for several weeks, i tried to do as much frontlines as i could, and i ended with 10 FL a week. It's very low, and it doesn't encourage players to play pvp.
Since we can loot more quickly in WoD now, i don't even bore try to go frontlines, it is just a waste of time and i don't want to pay for waiting something that never comes.

Maybe i'll go back to frontlines one day... but this is not my priority anymore.

Aether Mael queues are ~5mins on good days and up to 30~60mins on bad ones. Typically on the good days we have some pretty decent players going in; but on the bad ones I've seen the absolute worst.

I think part of the issue stems from that fact that 5 times out of 10, we get an alliance (in 72s) with no healers and either a ton of tanks or a ton of dps. Having been in said alliances before I can pretty much confirm that it is severely frustrating if the rest of the team does not co-ordinate well, because if you aren't careful you are guaranteed to die (and most people do end up dying because co-ordination seems to be a foriegn concept to the masses on our side).

It just ends up being demoralizing, I've seen people leave games that were a "lost cause" or just outright do what I assume would be afking in our spawn. And of course, that leads to people just outright not playing. Hell I don't even play on days where I just get bad match after bad match after bad match- despite putting in all of my effort to win.

Solo queues for 72-man anything, in my experience, are an absolute mess for us- it borders on "bearable" but can very quickly teeter over to "absolute nightmare". 24-player games on the other hand tend to go pretty well.

It usually takes a while to get a queue as Maelstrom too.
Although I've had insta queues and queues lower than 2min every day or so, it usually it takes 30min+ each time.

One thing that seem to bother many Maelstrom players, which may contribute to slow queues (assuming that the lack of maelstrom players is the cause of slow queues), is that 90% of the time both Flames and Addlers don't touch each other at all and just attack us Maelstrom. (at least on our data center).
They both come towards us, and eventually we are all killed.
They both camp our side and we can see that neither Flames or Addlers is getting ANY points for kills on Slaughter mode and they are all at full HP and buffed with stoneskin/galvanize when we arrive back.

It's hard to defend against 2x1 but sometimes we manage to do it ^^

I've heard ppl saying on Frontlines chat that Addlers&Flames do that because our names show in red color, similar to aggroed enemies on PvE content, and red in general is a color that represents "danger"; meanwhile Flame's blue is a non-threatening color, in fact it's the default color for party members in PvE; and finally, yellow, which is the color of Addler, is a color which represents cowardice, so it fits them right to walk on Flame's shadows to try to secure a 2nd place on frontlines and most times not try at all to get to 1st place.

(I've heard 2 different people saying that and after a while, it does feel like it makes sense)

The giant dogpile of Adder and Mael that consistently finds itself on our Flame OP during Secure begs otherwise. It's kinda sad when they're fighting each other for OUR base, since they're certainly not trading any of the other bases.
