Yeah...I'd really like to get back to Ul'Dah ASAP just so Lolorito can explain exactly what the plan was and what they wanted to acheive with it.Ultimately the deed is done. It sucks to have to stand by and take the flak (if you desire not to of course) or if the plot had been reversed and we had fought those that wanted a passive end would've been upset. As many have stated options are what are needed. Whether or not they lead to the same conclusion is moot. I would have preferred to have been cut loose, taken a weapon by some means (preferably violent), and proceeded to bring the roof down on their heads. Political consequences? Please, spare me because the Monetarists don't seem to give a fornication about "political consequences". They had Nanamo killed, you framed in front of two other national leaders and a representative, and the only thing it got them was Teledji dead and Lolorito a whole lot of headaches to deal with. They have effectively alienated the Immortal Flames which constituted the bulk of Ul'dahian defenses. The trouble with paying money for mercenaries like the Brass Blades and the so called Crystal Braves is when you really need them they won't be there. At this point, amid the chaos, the Maelstrom or the Yellow Serpents could most likely take over Ul'dah, never mind the Garlean Empire. No, the worst of the political implications came when we didn't do anything. Now one of the last City States has essentially made itself vulnerable to invasion. That is the price paid for greed and utter stupidity.
