Duty Roulette in Heavensward

A lot of concern is being shown lately about new players and the lack of getting into Duty Finder for the story content to progress and catch up to older players in a timely manner. So I suggest some new Duty Find Roulette options:


Duty Roulette: Expert (functions like before with the 3-4 hardest 4-man dungeons)
Reward: 100 Lesser Tomes and 35 Higher Tomes

Duty Roulette: Hard (functions like before with the 6-9 second hardest 4-man dungeons)
Reward: 75 Lesser Tomes and 15 Higher Tomes

Duty Roulette: Low-Level (the remaining 4-man dungeons here)
Reward: 100 Lesser Tomes and 50 Higher Tomes and 1500 Gil Bonus

Duty Roulette: Extreme Trials (Extreme Primals and the 2-3 last hardest 8-man MSQ)
Reward: 50 Lesser Tomes and 6000 Gil Bonus

Duty Roulette: Trials (Hard mode Primals and remaining 8-man trials not in DR:ET)
Reward: 75 Lesser Tomes and 25 Higher Tomes and 1500 Gil Bonus

Duty Roulette: Raids (Contains Coils Turns 1-9 and all of Crystal Tower Saga)
Reward: 25 Lesser Tomes and 15 Higher Tomes

Duty Roulette: 2.0 (Contains any 2.XX MSQ trials/dungeons)
Reward: 100 Lesser Tomes and 25 Higher Tomes

Duty Roulette: 3.0 (Contains any 3.XX MSQ trials/dungeons)
Reward: 75 Lesser Tomes and 3500 Gil Bonus

Duty Roulette: Guildhests (Guildhests here)
Reward: EXP (scaled) and Gil Bonus (scaled)

Duty Roulette: Frontline (PVP stuff)
Reward: 2500 Gil Bonus and 15 Higher Tomes

So if you were to do all them you get
Lesser Tomes: 600
Higher Tomes: 180
Gil: 15,000

Now to make it even better for new comers they could make it to where you have to do them 2 times to get those reward totals (so each time is one half of the reward, and you could do the each Roulette category twice a day. What that would do is encourage people to do more than one roulette type each day increasing the amount of people doing the older content.

Duty Roulette midlevel dungeons : lv 51-59 dungeons

I hope they implement that NPC team sooner rather than later. This can only last for so long and develops a mercenary attitude among the players

Yoshi-P already confirmed these will reorganized for 3.0, the same day he confirmed Alexander's different loot system.

As has already been said, a reorganisation will occur, specifically high-level category will no longer be so bloated.

It's hard for us from the outside to speculate on. I'm sure they will organise things in a way that makes sense.
