    Loot Hostages

Can we do something about this? It's been a problem in in the 24-person events since the beginning. It's even worse when Onion Knight and Puff of Darkness are involved. Someone always has to hold out on lotting until the last second, and it's pretty frustrating having to sit there the whole agonizing 300 seconds to watch it drop. I know the Dev team has previously stated they don't want a publicly seen lot because they don't want harassment, but is it too much to ask to at least see an indication of who has and has not lotted?

What would the purpose of it be? What would it change? The people hoping that you're going to leave so it drops into their inventory are STILL going to do it wether you know the name or not.

SE could fix it rather easy and without needing to show who has or hasn't lotted/passed. They just need to code it so that you have 30 secs from the point half of the group has made their rolls to either lot or be forced into an automatic pass by the system. The timer for loot is too long anyway considering the amount of space found normally after a boss before reaching the next group of mobs.

This kind of player behavior surprised me. Anyone who wants an item will not be deterred by other players stalling, so it accomplishes nothing but wasting everyone's time. I always cast my roll immediately and accept the number I am given.

Cutting down the lot period is just as acceptable, but something needs to be done about this particular kind of trolling. If I roll a 98, I'm not gonna leave just so you might have a chance at it. This kind of behavior really doesn't get people to leave, nor does it decrease competition. It just wastes time.
