PS4 users what is your BLM cross bar setup?

BLM is my secondary and BRD my first. With BRD I don't have any issues but I find BLM requires quick use of more actions than BRD does so was just wondering how everyone has their cross bar set up and where you put each action as well? I know it's personal but just curious to see what others do.

I have two sets, one for Lv50+ content while the secondary for low Lv stuff. Ideally, you want whats or will be used more often on your primary crossbar.

Thanks that's a good idea as I find BLM hard in that regard in that low level works so different from higher up when you have Fire 3 etc. I was wondering more so though where people have their actions like where you put Fire 1,2,3 etc as I've changed it from the default and am just trying to optimize it.

Circle - Blizzard III
X - Fire I
Square - Fire III

Up - Fire II
Right - Transpose
Down - Manawall
Left - Scathe

L2:

Triangle - X-Ether
Circle - Lethargy
X - Raging Strikes
Square - Thunder III

Up - Flare
Right - Convert
Down - Swift Cast
Left - Limit Break


This is what I use...although the biggest thing is that I'm used to it and I know and am comfortable where everything is. And this is used mainly as the level 50+ stuff obviously. Every now and than I may move something around but it's situational. That and I'm always up to reading/hearing other ways people have their set up.

Great thanks so much I'll compare mine when I'm on. Scathe was my biggest one as mine is right where yours is but I find it a bit awkward having it on the D pad especially if I'm trying to move or run and use it so was curious to see where others have it.

I'm not the best BLM by any means, but I like to think of myself as greatly mediocre with flashes of potential skill.



Scathe used to be on Triangle, until I found that I was spamming it too much - moving it to Up makes me plan my use of it, because I have to shift my grip just enough.

Apocatastasis is on L2 square because I was having too much trouble when it was in the L2->R2 section, and I would accidentally cast it on the wrong target when it was on the dpad.

R2->L2 is my AoE, pots & manaward bar. L2->R2 has skills that are useful in rare situations, and limit break.

The four macros that I use are found on the L2-R2 bar - a virus macro, Eye for an Eye, a macro that targets <f> & an Aetherial Manip macro.

My Aetherial Manip macro first targets <t>, then my static's bard, then everyone in the party from <2> to <8>.

At the bottom, I have all of my major cooldowns showing on an extra hotbar, so they are visible at a glance.
