I agree, there's probably a technical reason for it to be separate.

the chocoracing is too RNG based and too grind-heavy.

Also agreed, it is one monster of a grind. I don't know how a handful of people managed to get the racing mask for pedigree 9 and the First Across title for 500 wins almost instantly. Racing the same courses all day to grind it out would be very depressing.
