the real problem with chocobo racing...isnt the racing

Y isnt the chocobo square part of the main GS? im sure more ppl wud do it if it was near the TT square and mini cactpot counter

i have no idea, but i think it's better for the server when many people do choco racing. they are not on the same map as the other people in gold saucer, so the server won't crash xD too bad, there are only like 8 people do choco racing :x

the chocoracing is too RNG based and too grind-heavy. people are complaining about relic weapon grind / atma drop-rate. the choco racing is a way harder grind with way more RNG in it. plus there is almost no reward.

good thing: i like grinding^^ better thing: i hate pvp. that includes racing against PCs. but there is no PC, only those overpowered NPCs xD

Also agreed, it is one monster of a grind. I don't know how a handful of people managed to get the racing mask for pedigree 9 and the First Across title for 500 wins almost instantly. Racing the same courses all day to grind it out would be very depressing.

I can confirm,i was on anti-depressants after 5 days.The ones that grinded to 9...i almost pity them,and i'm really not trying to be insulting.

It's a lot easier than the TT grind. Sure, you need 1800 race to get a Rank 50 Pedigree 9 chocobo and that's around 90h time (you can make around 750k MGP with this in TT - sold cards included - in ~8100 matches). But it's not that repetitive. You could also just press W and let it run, impossible when you play TT.

Still, of course it's also mind-numbing when you really do it in a single week or so...
