    Diverse race animations

    It'd be nice if each race did things slightly differently. Its boring seeing a Hyur next to a Miqo'te, both paladins, standing the same, swinging their swords the exact same way.

    In FFXI each race did things differently, gave the game more flavor and diversity. Mithras sort of crouched with a one handed sword and used it more aggressively. Elvaans used the one handed sword like a fencer, or a knight. Tiny little details that made a world of difference, even in casting animations. Every race casts black and white magic basically the same, just with very tiny differences.

    This is the perfect example of all the races as monks in their battle pose, even differences between male and female of the same race.

    Even before that, they could at least have different static and dynamic animations for each clan. Currently Midlander and Highlander have completely different sets of animations and emotions. It would be nice if the same treatment was given to Plainsfolk/Dunesfolk, Wildwood/Duskwight, Keeper/Seeker, Sea Wolves/Hellsgard as well.

    It would even be better if we could choose our battle stance/style from a list of them like the idle stance.

    Don't see why we can't. They already went in and gave each race different emotes. Seems to me like they just got lazy or completely didn't bother thinking that one thing goes with the next. This needs to happen because its nowhere near impossible or even game breaking difficult. Just install some new animation packs. So far, only the ninja has the specific battle run and front flip jump. Every class needs this attention.

    The amount of work and money to add new animation to each race would take too long. They would just say we could add a few new battle animation and you can pick from that.

    That'd be a start at least. The way things are now just makes it seem like they ran out of time in production and gave everyone the same battle animations.
