Minimum Ilvl for Tanks in WoD

First, check out the other tanks' gear and classes. If one of them is wielding a weapon 15 or more ilevels higher than yours and are in appropriate gear: they are MT.

As a healer, if you can queue, I can heal you.

But note that many people are doing WoD on their alt classes to grab some free gear. Last run I had while on my weekly quest, I went over 20 seconds without any heals nor Regen on me, on the first boss (the giant eye) and died after I exhausted my cooldowns. It turned out both healers were originally DPS and were healing WoD for the first time.

Essentially...just try it. There's no reason to expect anything above iLv100 to go into that place.

problem I see nowadays, tanks with zeta weapons are just standing there waiting someone to MT.
And when the other one with lesser gear MT, they try their hardest to get the agro off them.

first tank run on wod for me was in 110 with burtgang.. had no issues whats so ever.

however if your healers are crap or you don't know how to rotate your cooldowns then your in for some trouble. enemies hit pretty hard but of course nothing your healers cant keep up with. it is possible for you to grab all enemies and hold them and be the solo mt if you so wish but may aswell let the others do some work since your new to it.

the only thing is on first boss you have to be good at dodging the two major mechanics, morbal gaze and ireful.. morbal you just turn away for and ireful just switch sides everytime, but id recommend you go ot to see how it goes.

cloud of darkness is your worst enemy really, she has powerful attacks that although can go unmitigated youd be putting a lot of strain on your healers especially with a lower hp pool. so manage your cd' well on that fight if you go mt.

I guess the only other thing to say is really be prepared to pick up anything as on ccassion mt will go down and theres quite a few adds to grab. use your tanking experience and im sure youll be fine.. dont be scared to fail either as hell that's how we learn..
