Crashing After Going to Estate/Latest Patch

Hi all,

I have been having absolutely no troubles with playing lately until this evening, when I came home and downloaded the latest patch. Looking for a little advice, ideas, etcetera.

When I downloaded and logged in, I was at Revenant's Toll and everything was fine. I teleported to my FC's estate and, at the loading screen for that, crashed. Now, I can make it as far as character selection, but I'm crashing every time at the estate loading screen.

I am really hoping I don't have to uninstall and reinstall or something. Oy.

EDIT NOTE: The 'crash' is just the program going down with the usual Windows message that it has stopped functioning. No error code or indication of what might be going on offered.

EDIT NOTE #2: This appears to be specifically related to the FC's residence area. I am able to log in other characters who are not there.

I just used an eternal bonding ring to teleport to golden saucer and now it crashes on my main every time. I can log in with my other char on another server but if i try with my main its insant crash only after that teleport....
