Where the airship is currently placed, isn't it going to cause a problem of where the ship is going to fly too?

It can't go "round the corner" as a "drive away effect" because the bridges for leaving Gridania are there.

Plus, it's all enclosed by the cliff anyway.

So does that mean the ship is going to go forward very slightly to the middle of the pond and then shoot upwards? :S

Or do you think it will just move forward and then disappear... much like you do when your teleport?

Both ways to me seem a bit, I dunno, fumbly, silly? Doesn't seem to fit.

P.S - this is no way me moaning/QQ'ing - I can't wait for the airships no matter which way they do it.

air ships are just hot air balloons with propellers, there is no reason why it cant just lift straight into the air.

It's just that way until they redesign the maps. Why spend the resources to make a 5-10 minute airship ride now when they'll have to redo it in a couple months anyway?
