This sentence has completely relieved you any kind of respect in the WAR tanking world. No WAR in their right mind uses haymaker when you can use BETTER healing/mitigation/aggro generating skills.
So besides haymaker sir, what would you sub that gives you better mitigation? featherfoot vs 20% slow and tp regen and ability to put out damage? I'm not going to argue over this because I am fairly certain for dungeon running there is not any. Would I set this in a Raid? No sir, but anything vs flash for warrior is wasted potential.
In all honesty I would replace flash with featherfoot if I had nothing else lol. Flash on warrior is really not that spiffy.
Flash is only good for suck warriors period.
edit* I also may have made it not clear in my original post either. You dont use haymaker until you are low on TP. Maybe single target mobs like boss's that will recieve the slow debuff. Flash is essentially a filler for when you dont have TP just as Haymaker would be. Also as a note, Haymaker applied to one mob is basically a 20% mitigation ability for that particular mob for 12s, and again the ability is basically spam mode on large pulls.

It's:
Except WAR gets both. So:

You do realize the amount of threat generated by flash is the same as a pld right? Not to mention it's a skill on gcd that affects ONE target compared to potentially the whole set. Oh and if you're "low on TP" you either have complete s*** party composition/players that it it took that long for a pull - which would also boil down to your own inability to initially asses your party prior to said pull, or you just spammed OP until you run out of TP because "OMG OVERPOEIRJ#P*UDJF".
Oh, and I forgot to mention that haymaker adds to your GCD so WTH were you doing not building wrath stacks?
You're right, there there's no need to argue. You just proved yourself to be a complete S***T WAR
I need to be able to like this post more than once. GOD YES. Such truth. Taking Haymaker? You might as well take Savage Blade which LITERALLY does nothing for you short of the incredibly measly damage.
My 2 cents on the topic as a whole, is use both. When I run in on my WAR, I typically do one Flash just to gain general threat, then reposition for the most effective Overpower I can. Then you can go about your tank rotation and swaps as necessary. If you are required to spam AOE threat generators, I'd personally spam Flash first if it were me just because that leaves you the TP to perform other options as necessary. Just how I play though. Everyone is going to do it their own way.
