I really wish that they would remove stuns/interrupts from the GCD and put a cooldown timer on them.
It's frustrating not being able to interrupt a mob ability because you are waiting on your GCD to finish.

I like my GCD stun.
Plan ahead.
Try Warrior.
Warrior master race
as my pref tank is pld, i don't mind breaking my halone combo just to stun a mechanic... and if i also have the tp to spare.![]()
You don't get it both ways. Paladins have one of the most overpowered stuns in the game. It's the only class, aside from WHM, that can Chain Stun mobs. From there comes DRG and Monk, Then Warrior, Ninja, Summoner.
And all you gotta do is anticipate.
Bingo, either you get the most powerful stun in the game (6 second chain stun) or you get to wait like 15-30 seconds before you can stun again.
I wouldn't give up my strategic stun for the world.
Same story with Inner Beast... it's a 6 second rampart I can use every 7-8 swings. All these threads like these seem to complain about the distinct differences between classes. There's only a few ways you can make tanks different from one another. They are the way they are on purpose. Making parts of them easier takes away from what makes them unique.
WAR's and DRG's Instant stun has long animation delay, this is not much better. But PLD's stun is great if planned use - longest stun period, fast animation and chain stun (6+3+1s).
Can we let that horse rest in peace ?
