Yes please.
I've never seen this kinda stuff, I must be blind!People ERP in public anyway. Go to an open world spot with water/waterfalls and a guarantee you there will be at least one set of ERPers in the area. If limiting where you can lay down is an effort to circumvent public ERP, they would be better off making the entire open world desert instead (even then, someone somewhere has a kink for severe sunburn and sand in places It shouldn't be).
Imagine people lying down on Ul'dah streets. The place will look like some third world country.
but yeah, I support the idea to lift the restriction.
I cant belive how rude some of you have been to Bluevann.
How is it extremely unreasonable?
Answer me honestly, does the ability to turn off seeing it affect *you*(the people doing it) in anyway that would make it "unreasonable"?
Or would you rather force him, and others, to see things that could affect them mentally/emotionally in real life?
I dont understand Blue exactly but I have a friend who is similar in the way of looking away IRL or changing the channel and so on(i know her reason and if blue is even close to similar then I feel bad for him) They don't do that because they are immature, they do it for personal reasons that caused pain in their life.
Anyways. I understand where SE came from with not allowing it. Though I would say they could add a fix that ssay.. "when you blacklist someone, their character and any action performed by their characters would be invisible. Includes emots skills and chat
Now that said, I do support the idea of laying on the beach chairs. Or laying on your fc couch. Or hell, laying on the floor in your own fc.
I'd like some more laying down options. Also some different sleep poses. Some of them seem outright silly (see any Miqo'te in a wedding dress lying on a bed). I don't even know how some of them could be considered a dozing pose, since they're clearly not asleep. I want a pose for Lalafell so I can lay down on my tummy, kicking my feet up. Cute, and perfect for lounging on the beach next to my home in Limsa.
The only argument against it is that it could be used for simulating sexual situations. Well, if they wanted to ban anything which could be used for that they'd have to remove half the game. That's before I mention the myriad number of sexual innuendo's present in the game itself through NPC dialogues.
Lol yeah, can you imagine all the people in Mor Dhona frolicking around in a huge orgy?I'd rather not. Last thing I want to see is Miqo'te females laying on the floor with miqo'te males /sitting behind them to imitate sexual intercourses (beds preventing that by forcing people to sit on the edges, and even if they didn't, I don't mind people doing that stuff inside their homes. But beds out in the open world or worse yet, everywhere? No thanks). People have already enough ways to offend my personal sensibility as it is in this game. I'll vote yes to the OP's idea only if it comes with the option to cancel other people's characters from my screen completely.
Naughty naughty lurkerPersonally I'm against their outlook and decision on the matter, I mean the new /sit /cpose emote... have you seen the things people do with that? Also... the bottles of Realm Reborn Red... go check on over at the "Show your Roe" thread, and be quite surprised around some of the last few pages. That was just a lolbored moment but, I will agree that there's plenty of opportunities to do suggestive emoting, if one should chose so. As I often do cause.... well, it's fun being silly in a non-ERP way with such emotes and see people flip out. I'm evil like that .___. Then gain, people tend to flip out about much less anyway....

Meh I don't even care if this goes to sexual intercourse, we really need this emote for something like sunbathing on Mist, chilling out near river or some positive way to use this emote.
