Expansion predictions?

Quick, someone throw up a graphic of the server crashes and 9000 notifications that plagued at launch.

Not so much another prediction from me, but it'd be nice if Alphinaud and Alisaie got slightly older character models. They've been 13-14 too long and I'm concerned they'll never go through puberty at this rate.

According to the lore panel, Elezen have much longer age spans than we do. That means that when in their teens they might still look like children, and might look like teens when they're in their 20s, maybe even 30s. Their physical childhood, boyhood and adulthood last a lot longer than the other races'.

I don't know where people are getting 2-3 new job skills from since Yoshi stated in interviews leveling form 50-60 will take the same amount of time as leveling form 1-60.

So you think we'll get a new job skill every single level from 51-60? When previously, we got a new "job skill" every 5 levels via the quests. Based on that, one at 55 and one at 60 is reasonable, with perhaps a base class skill tossed in for some randomness.

That's because they are going the WoW route with expansions which mean they are going to add as much if not more abilities than they had in 2.0

Ok so as an example: pugilist (not monk) had 17 abilities not including traits. You really think that in the next 10 levels, pugilist will get 17 OR MORE abilities? It's unlikely.

The question was asking about job abilities, not class abilities. Now they're of course free to do whatever they want, but currently you get job abilities every 5 levels. So between 50 and 60 we'd get 2 new ones (one at 55 and the other at 60).

Also WoW NEVER EVER added as many abilities in an expansion as a class started with. Usually you'd get like 2 new spells. One at max level and another sometime before that.

Personally I'm expecting 2 job abilities, 2 class abilities, and 2 or 3 traits per class to be added.

Summoner alone will have 3 new summon spells with Leviathan, Ramuh and Shiva and 3 more job abilities which makes 6 job abilities since Summoners get job related spells. I think it will be a class ability every other level starting at 51 and ending at 60 and a job ability every other level starting at 52 and ending at 60.
