Please give us an Autocraft button for any synth 10-15 ranks below our skill level

I am tired of spending hours and hours crafting items way below my rank. I know about hasty hands and it fails way to much to be considered a viable option. Make the autocraft have a way to turn it off so if the crafter wants to manually try for a +1 or a +2 or a +3. My character spends way to much time on one knee crafting to rank up, the last thing I want to do is spend many many many more hours on one knee crafting low rank mats that do not skill me up well anymore. The autocraft button can give 0 sp if you feel it is needed.

We just need an entirely new crafting system. One that doesn't cause so much frustration.

From what I've seen, there's absolutely no benefit to using anything other than standard synth when ranking up or for leves.

Hasty Hand can do one of three things:
1) complete synth instantly (fairly common for low synths)
2) fail synth instantly (very rare)
3) lower durability by 50

This third outcome is very common and annoying, as now you must sit there and (now only possibly) complete the synth. Either way this is now a normal synth, the exact thing you were trying to avoid by using Hasty Hand.

Usually I get lower level goldsmiths to make me my silver francisca heads, but sometimes I have no choice but to do this myself. I'm losing time I could have been using to make the silver franciscas and actually skillup.

I vote change the whole crafting system. and while were at it can we finally stop calling them classes? and stop making everything possible for DoW/M and DoL/H it totally ruined the missions for me. made them so easy and BORING.

Its called Hasty Hands and works great for the type of synths you talking about. You are gonna smash anything close to your level but i can fire through low level logs really fast and even get a ton of HQ, if it blows half way then can still complete and even HQ that.

Well ideally you would buy your mats from a lower level crafter... or save some gil and make them yourself.

personaly, if you want a fast synth
use hasty hands

also, some of us who do much lower synths in most cases, also want to HQ them....so an auto synth would suck for that

He is making them himself, I think that's the source of his irritation.

OP: I'm not understanding exactly what it is you're asking for. If Hasty Hand is not a good solution for you, why not? What specifically is the process that you have in mind?
