Solution to zodiac drop rates!

I dont get why people whine about "finding a solution".

If you want your weapon just do the quest. It takes a lot of time but :

1. You have been warned before. 2. This is supposed to be the best weapon by far when properly meld. Even better than t13 weapon which is not really easy and fast to get.
3. This weapon is absolutely not needed for 100% of the content since ironworks i130 weapons are powerfull enough.

If you dont want it just dont do the quest.

Nobody forces you. What is boring is to have whiners saying "help us nerf it" each time they are asked to run something long. Give yourself a goal . Do your 100ish dungeons. Enjoy your zeta. If you cant without crying then you probably dont understood what a MMO is.

I gave up on my zeta after I got my Zenith...
But, one thing I can see to make the dungeon runs more interesting would be to perhaps introduce a consolation prize of sorts.. Put in some crafting mats that are worth some money so people farm it.. I know some already have it, but most of the existing ones are crap.. I'm talking like Inferno Horn kinda deal, hundreds of thousands to maybe a million gil in price, of course with a low enough drop rate so it is sought after. I would like to see some of those.

You already get consolation prizes from most of the dungeons in the form of desynth items and tomes. AV and DD are the only dungeons on the list that I consider an almost complete waste of time.

That being said, I favor a tweak to the RNG-only acquisition method just because it can and does inordinately screw over a minority of players. I've made two Zodiac weapons this far and have been fairly lucky, but I know others have had it worse.

But hey... At least I one shot WP and Brayflox. Takes so long to get them done, you know, and the big pulls... so stressful. Because areas like the first room of AV are so much more fun I wanna have more time for them...

Yeah, being on the "you're screwed" side of the zodiac I can stress how not cool it was.

Do I think it should change? Sure. Do I expect it to a couple months before heavensward? No. Hopefully they drew the proper conclusions from the 90-100 stage and zodiac and don't repeat it ever.

It took me over 1.5 weeks of running DD for about 40+ runs to get my drop. I'm currently on my 23rd hullbreaker.. its almost silly

working on my second Zeta atm so I picked up the quest early im currently at the novus stage so im just doing the dungeons for drops while I farm the light for nexus that way when im done I can just instantly change it from nexus to zodiac.
