Problem 1: Stats were character bounded, not class bounded. You can level up THM, put all points into Int, change to MRD and have a MRD with a lot of Int. In ARR the people complain that SMN and SCH share the same stat points. Now imagine how it will be if all classes/jobs share the same stat points. There was a way to reset the stats, but it needed time.
This is something that might have been fixable without the removal of the Physical Level, though.

I personally don't see this as much of a problem.

Anyway, I know it's not going back to that, and that's fine. I don't agree with the OP about, well, much of anything. I do think the Class/Job system does need a makeover, just not that extreme.
