Your statement was what killed you my friend.<sigh>...why does every post i make always make ppl pissed at me. I did put the words "sorta" like "maybe" or "idk" or...ugh..watever...you guys get the picture....(hopefully). But anyway I was just asking what ya'll think about the glamour and not about my statement...
Never ever compare NIN here from Naruto...People either hate or love that show and you'd be stepping on toes with it.
But looking past that thing, nice glamour but doesn't look like Anbu people.

Or maybe the Sasuke blade from Final Fantasy VI that Shadow can use.

Well I apologize for my stupid statement then, but anyway yea I know it doesnt look much like the anbu black ops. There wasn't a lot of gear options for me to use so this is pretty much the closest i can think of, but lets think of this as an Eorzean version of the anbu black ops lol. (or not if u guys dont think so lol)
I'll just leave this here: Sarutobi Sasuke.Or maybe the Sasuke blade from Final Fantasy VI that Shadow can use.

While I have a seething hatred for all things Narutarded.. My inner glamour lover can't help but theorize what may work, given the images posted on page 2.. Keep the mask, change your hair though, to something that will spike over the top of the mask, try Mythril-plated Caligae (dyed a semi-dark grey, or pale blue), Picaroon's legs or perhaps some of the looser fitting slacks, dyed to match the feet, almost any of the doublet models, dyed again to match, and the Sipahi Gloves (pretty sure dyable to match). Should produce basically the same as in this picture.. but in a FF14 form.

"Based on" may not have been the best way to say it - but it's patently obvious that the tropes drew upon when creating the NIN class were chosen to appeal to Naruto fans. It's just that NON-Naruto fans can also find these tropes appealing.
Did the tropes preceed Naruto? Of course. Have many, many other media portrayed ninjas in a similar manner? Naturally.
Is it a total coincidence that SE chose to build their NIN with hand signs, airplane-wing-arms running, and so on and so forth when a wildly popular anime was featuring ninja doing the same things? Yeah, keep telling yourself that. XD
I'm sure it's also a total coincidence that the "special job emote" added to the NIN job in FFXI a few years back has the NIN summon a giant toad to pose atop...
No, guys, think about it.
Oboro is Naruto, the fresh faced idealist.
Karasu is Sasuke, the former friend who turned evil and then turned good again.
Tsubame is Sakura, who had to get rescued that one time.
It makes perfect sense.
