this honestly is the worst fight I've seen in a MMO in a recent years, I may just wait till 3.0 it's impossible to do via duty finder

If I recall, Square said completing the post-2.0, including 2.55, is essentially required to get into Heavensward storyline. As this is a major event in the MSQ, no one can skip it, at least if they want to access 3.0 content when the expansion releases.
