Annoying friend requests

I know I'm popular, but these are getting out of hand. These unpronounceable names vying for my friendship are relentless!

Why do we have to go through one notification box then click on their name in our friend list to get rid of them?

And why can't we blacklist them immediately?

Wow bots still do that? They did that on Gilgamesh for a while, but I haven't seen one for a long time. I think they do it because you can't b-list them right away when they friend you.

I experience it every day on Shiva. And yeah, the fact that SE has made actually declining a friend request this cumbersome and still has not changed it makes me questioning their motives/logic, really....

I'll just leave this macro here for you. This is technically part of the problem, not the solution, but at present the "solution" is a royal PITA, so the GMs have no valid excuse to deny us agency on this.

This only works if you got a /tell from them at the same time. There's a new bunch who just start with the Friend request.

This is the most annoying part. The Friend Request window has a "No" button on it, but instead of having "No" mean "No" like it should, "No" just brings up the Friend list window, where we can find them, select them, find the "deny request" option, then approve the confirmation window. It's ridiculous. When we're asked if we want to Friend someone "Yes" should mean "Yes" and "No" should mean "No". We shouldn't have to jump through all these extra hoops just to refuse these requests.

(At the very most, requests could maybe have a confirmation box for either answer, but we certainly shouldn't have to dig through other windows to find the setting allowing us to deny a request after we've already answered No to it.)
