Except SE actually bans bots far, far less often than they ban the other accounts involved since they use the bots to trace the gil to the bankers, transactional accounts and advertizing accounts.

Also, I agree with the statements in some replies about the actions against gil buyers. As long as people think they can get away with a slap on the wrist for buying gil, they will continue to take the risk. Stop gil buyers and you pretty much end RMT, so permanently banning accounts shown to have purchased gil from a gil seller is the only way to go IMHO.
