Complimenting someone is not flirting!

I've found the sex of one's avatar doesn't really matter. Straight guys fall for my male characters all the time just because I'm helpful and ask how their day is going. It's kind of awkward when my guy friends' girlfriends get jealous that a male character helps them with a dungeon or two. ^^; As for emotes, straight guys blow kisses at each other all the time. It's just how they interact. I wouldn't even consider that flirting, honestly.

the next time you compliment a guy and he says he's married ask him if there's any space left in his harem. Jokes are great ways to diffuse potentially awkward situations. it doesn't really matter how he reacts afterwards, because you'll always have the upper hand.

You can also say something along the lines of, "Blink once if she sitting next to you and twice if there's a knife to your throat."
