Let's be honest, he doesn't NEED that. Sure might be cool to have, but think of all the other dungeons he will do, all the other parts of crystal tower he'll go to. All the sol and poetics gear. He has plenty of chances and ways to get good gear, usually ancients gear is just for glammour nowadays.

Point being, in the end the random need chance is chill with a single piece of gear, because there's more gear out there and more ways to get it. Hunts, the market, small dungeons with only 4 players (thus easier to not get doubles of dps, and only 1 person will be able to need on each gear piece), sol, poetics, (which both are probably better than ancients gear anyways)
