    Just do a test server please. I'm sure there are enough eager players to participate in them and it would save the rest of us the frustration of these halts. I get that accidents happen BUT can't you just randomize the times of these maintenances just a little bit. They ALWAYS happen at the same time which is always in the morning here that is the only time I have time to play which means every single maintenance cuts my playtime. Having even + or - 2 hours variation to these maintenance times would make them much more fair to everyone.

    Blizzard has a test server, and still suffers from the same patch for a patch issue. Just see my other post. We often make the joke, "here comes the patch to patch the main patch."
