Fisher's Intuition

This buff is extremely short for most fish that have it considering how often it pops up. Please make it at least 5 minutes duration for every fish.

The buff duration is different between the big fish that requires it. For me the durations have been enough to catch all pretty "quickly". What I can assume is that for example the fish at The Weeping Saint in Coerthas has short buff because it is super easy to get, and you can limit the mooch fish to two with a bait. Same with Namitaro as long as you get Takitaro.

Kuno the Killer's buff is 20 minutes for example and it has larger fish pool to get the correct double mooch chain that might not even happen during the buff.

So no, I think the buff duration is just fine as it is!

I highly disagree with the thought that the buff for catching a Giant Takitaro is long enough. I have already seen plenty of thunder cycles where I do not see a single Giant Takitaro so it just makes the frustration of only having 1-2 casts to try for Namitaro that much worse. I would really like to see all the intuition buffs increased to at least 5-10 min if not all going to the 23 min that you get for Kuno.

Namitaro's hook rate is actually pretty ridiculously high during that one-minute buff, though. I think I caught six Giant Takitaro before I landed Nami; of those six windows, I hooked Nami four times (three escaped, one caught). While admittedly a small sample size and I have no idea if I was just lucky, that's a one in three chance of hooking Namitaro while Fisher's Intuition is on. I don't think any other Legendary has anywhere close to so high a hook rate - and so, to balance that, SE made Giant Takitaro tough to catch.

I spent hours trying to catch Namitaro. Not as much as Sawfish, but I think I hooked Namitaro atleast 15x before I finally drug him up :O
Though I had more trouble straight catching Takitaro for the buff. He was too shy :P

The one in cape westwind (1m duration) definitely too short too many times has this happened to me "You sense something strange in the water" and then on the very next cast "The fish sense something is amiss. Try fishing elsewhere." fml

It's 2 minutes. Because SE is "vague" with the timers, the moment you get the 2 minute, it ticks down and shows "1" but not how many seconds of it. So between 1:59 to 1:00 it's just 1 minute until it starts counting seconds only. You can also swap place quickly if you get the amiss message with next cast, the buff won't wear off.
